Shipping Policy

Overview

This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed with Bessie’s Creative Sewing are processed, shipped, and delivered. It applies to ready-to-wear dresses and other in-stock items purchased through our online store.

1. Where We Ship

We currently ship to addresses within the United States only. International shipping is not available at this time.

2. Shipping Cost

A flat shipping rate of $7.99 applies to all standard orders shipped within the U.S. This rate is shown at checkout before payment is completed, and no additional shipping fees will be added afterward unless specifically requested by the customer (for example, reshipment after a failed delivery — see Section 9).

3. Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully received and verified.

  • Orders are processed Monday through Saturday
  • Orders are not processed or shipped on Sundays or U.S. public holidays
  • Processing times may be extended during peak periods, holidays, or high order volume

Processing time and shipping time are separate — the estimate below reflects both combined.

4. Delivery Estimates

Standard Shipping: 5–7 business days after your order ships

Total estimated delivery: approximately 6–10 business days from the date your order is placed (processing + shipping combined)

Delivery estimates may vary depending on:

  • Destination location
  • Carrier operations
  • Weather conditions
  • Seasonal demand
  • Other circumstances beyond our control

Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

5. Order Tracking

Tracking information is provided once an order has shipped. You can track your shipment using the link sent to the email address provided at checkout.

6. Shipping Carriers

Orders may be shipped through reputable U.S. carriers, including:

  • USPS
  • UPS
  • FedEx

Carrier selection is based on operational requirements, package specifications, and destination.

7. Shipping Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Bessie’s Creative Sewing is not responsible for delivery issues resulting from:

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Failed delivery attempts
  • Refused deliveries
  • Address changes requested after an order has already been processed

We cannot guarantee changes to shipping information once processing has begun.

8. Delayed, Lost, or Missing Shipments

If your shipment appears delayed, lost, or missing, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We’ll review the matter and, when appropriate, work with the carrier to investigate and help resolve it.

9. Undeliverable or Returned Orders

Orders returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or refused delivery may be subject to an additional shipping charge for reshipment. We’ll notify you before any reshipment charge is applied.

10. Policy Updates

This Shipping Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our shipping practices or legal requirements. The most current version is always available on this page.
